Hey Folks, This has been the most unbelievable experience I have had in this industry. From the first day, I felt like I knew the folks at SM for years. Coming from a small town in Cape Breton I thought I would be out of place, but Michael,Patrick,Konrad, and the rest of the crew made me feel right at home. I have learned so much and I can’t wait to start adding my new techniques to my shoots. I have been in the broadcast industry for 9 years and I have learned more in 3 days with SM. And oh let me know if you are having another work shop next year because I want in.

    Cheers
    Jason

I like to think Workshop 1 as “Batman Begins” and Workshop 2 as “The Dark Knight”………cuz the second one was better! YOU HEARD ME! We had croissants for breakfast on our workshop. Jealous? I know you are.

Amina, Patrick, Michael, Konrad, Jessica and Jaime,

Just can’t thank you enough for giving us the opportunity to participate.
I treasure every moment of it (and still super excited about it).

And everyone in the workshops are so great and friendly. Wish we’d be able to meet again soon in the future!

Wish there’ll be more workshops coming up soon!

    Warmest Regards,
    Vicky

Patrick, thank you for sharing your knowledge so openly. Your humility is astounding given the position that you’re in.

Konrad, your energy is infectious. The passion and creativity you hold within you speaks volumes. It is people like you who cause others to see life in a bigger, grander way.

Michael, your insight into the human mind is amazing. I’ve learned and will continue to learn so much from how you communicate through video.

To the rest of the team, thanks for everyone’s great attitudes! We all came in with various skill sets and everyone checked their egos at the door. I must say that the environment was one of inspiration with sound principle. And I hope to see each of you again someday. For now, let’s all Facebook eachother.

    Aloha!

    James

Stillmotion is the bomb…literally. There are so many of us wanting to take our art to the next level and the “Evolution Experience” was like jumping on a rocket ship for all of us. I’ve been to so much workshops and conferences in the last 9 years but this one by far was the most impactful and personal…not only in technique and principles but in grasping the heart of the art of wedding cinema. Patrick, Michael, Konrad, Amina…the whole Stillmotion crew…first class workshop…first class people…BOOM.

    Aloha

I had a blast at the training. This was end all be all training. I’ve looked at other people’s work, including my own and I’m blown away every time I look at SM video. The whole video was based off of shots we did while learning. I said this in person and I’ll say it again. This training did not teach me to copy SM, you guys taught me how to think and open my mind to limitless possibilities and once you stimulate that part of your brain your work has no choice but to have a different feel to it. BTW the second class ruled and we will go down as the best SM training class ever. You can’t mess with perfection. lol
